Supporting Individuals and Communities through Transformative Conversations

Supporting Individuals and Communities through Transformative Conversations

About Bob

Bob Singha is a Master Coach, trainer and mentor to the next generation of transformational leaders. For over 28 years, he has worked at the intersection of personal development, social justice and ancestral wisdom, helping individuals, communities and institutions unlock deep, lasting change.

In 2001, Bob co-founded the Youth Coaching Academy (YCA) and co-created the world’s first fully accredited youth coaching qualifications. Long before coaching was mainstream, he helped make it accessible to those who needed it most: young people, frontline workers and under-served communities. That initiative sparked a global shift in how coaching is understood and delivered.

Bob’s career has spanned continents and sectors. As part of Involve’s senior management team, he designed youth and community programmes that became international models of best practice. In 2011, the RSA honoured him for his "groundbreaking work with young people and commitment to reaching disadvantaged communities." And in 2020, the Violent Crime Prevention Board awarded him the Leading Social Change and Innovation Award for his role in "reducing violence in London through the pioneering of community coaching".

As Director of Coaching at Catalyst in Communities (CIC), Bob has led the design and delivery of transformational coaching programmes for young people, schools and professionals across the UK. CIC’s groundbreaking approach - centred on human connection, self-leadership and emotional mastery - has influenced policy and practice at national and international levels.

From boardrooms to street corners, Bob has trained and mentored thousands of coaches, youth workers and leaders. His work weaves together ancient lineage-based practices with modern coaching science, enabling deep transformation that’s practical, fundable and scalable.

Today, Bob leads a global, decolonised coaching movement. He mentors high-impact individuals and organisations working at the edges of change, from social innovation and education to corporate leadership and spiritual development. His approach combines soulful presence with strategic clarity, helping others remember who they are and what they’re here to do.

Bob continues to coach, consult and speak internationally, bringing the rhythm of the dhol, the stillness of the fakir and the wisdom of the village elder to a world in need of reconnection.

My Story

I’ve spent over 28 years immersed in the art and practice of coaching, dedicating my life to guiding individuals, leaders and communities toward meaningful, lasting transformation.

Coaching, to me, is far more than just a method or a process. It’s a deep, intentional conversation that challenges assumptions, uncovers potential and sparks real change. It’s not about quick fixes or surface-level solutions. It’s about cultivating the mindset, awareness, and resilience that empowers individuals to navigate the complexities of life with clarity and purpose. Helping them remember who they really are, their 'name' and the name of their village.

Whether working with young people at the beginning of their journeys, professionals looking to level up or entire organisations striving for impact, my approach is rooted in the belief that true transformation comes through deep human connection, reflection and action.

For the last 5 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as the Director of Coaching at Catalyst In Communities (CIC). Here, I designed and led groundbreaking initiatives that helped hundreds of young Londoners break through both personal and collective barriers. This work, grounded in community, leadership and creativity, has not only supported individual growth but also created a ripple effect in the communities we serve. Through CIC, we set a new standard for what it means to empower and uplift young people, particularly in underserved communities, and I am immensely proud of the impact we made.

Alongside my direct coaching work, I have trained, supervised and mentored hundreds of coaches, educators and community leaders, helping them refine their craft and develop the presence necessary to guide others through transformational journeys. My approach is built on a deep respect for ancestral wisdom, combining the insights of ancient practices with modern coaching science to create a holistic, powerful methodology.

At the heart of my work is empowerment, is about giving people the tools, perspectives and confidence they need to step into their fullest potential. Whether you’re looking to excel in your career, deepen your leadership or make a meaningful impact within your community, I am here to help you remember what’s possible.

Over the years, I have worked with diverse individuals and organisations, from social innovators and corporate leaders to young people on the edge of their own personal breakthroughs. My work continues to evolve, and I am now leading a global movement to decentralise and decolonise coaching, bringing the power of 'the village' to those at the forefront of change. My mission is to ensure that coaching becomes accessible, scalable and, most importantly, deeply impactful for those who need it the most.

If you’re ready to remember the village, amplify your leadership and take your journey to the next level, I would be honoured to explore what’s possible together.

EastSide Story was a powerful process that blended creative expression with personal growth, offering young people in Waltham Forest a platform to explore and overcome their challenges. We guided the participants through a transformative process, developing their resilience, creativity and self-awareness as they shaped their stories into a compelling stage production. The BBC tracked our process in a beautiful Documentary, which became a paradigm shift that forever changed how we see youth work, storytelling and community, sending shockwaves from the streets to the halls of Parliament.
